OVC/DS will facilitate the repairs for supported computers and printers deployed to OVC/DSL Offices.
Only authorized Apple, Dell service repair persons repair our computers. Printers are also only serviced by authorized repair persons.
IT Liaisons should feel free to contact OVC/DS to determine if a computer or printer requires service and/or repairs.
Workgroup Printers
OVC/DS will facilitate necessary repairs for supported workgroup printers, and will cover associated costs.
Personal Printers
OVC/DS will facilitate necessary repairs for supported personal printers. Repair costs will be charged back to the departments.
Departments are responsible for non-standard or unsupported printers.
Misuse or Abuse
OVC/DS will cover repair costs associated with supported equipment under normal wear and tear. Repairs due to misuse or abuse (determined by OVC/DS or PC Service) will be charged back to the department.
