All OVC/DSL employees have CrashPlan installed on their machines. CrashPlan is constantly running in the background with no noticeable degradation of performance to the computer.
As soon as CrashPlan completes a backup, it starts again in 15 minutes. As a result, very few documents are changed in that period and therefore they are quickly backed up.
Because of this, should your computer crash, you may very well be able to recover a document you were working on up to approximately 15 minutes ago.
